System Network Administrator

Our client, a leading iGaming company providing white label casino and full turnkey services to top brands worldwide, is currently seeking a collaborative System Network Administrator to join their team.


  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux based core services including Active Directory, Cluster Services, RDS Services, CA Services, NTP, DNS, DHCP, Radius;
  • Control user access to the network;
  • Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, networks in support of business processing requirements;
  • Responsible for testing and implementing new technologies;
  • Maintain networking equipment including switches, routers, FC switches and any Corporate Storage Systems;
  • Provide hardware and software guidance to IT Support Service Teams;
  • Consults with personnel in other information systems sections to coordinate activities;
  • Make recommendations for network hardware and software upgrades;
  • Provide support to company users, investigate and troubleshoot issues;
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures, coordinate and communicate with affected users/departments;
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, etc;
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning;
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment;
  • Maintain growth statistics, space forecasts;
  • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly;
  • Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed;
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates. Support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments;
  • Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed;
  • Creating and maintaining documentation including, policies, procedures, manuals, logs that comply with industry requirements and/or regulations (PCI, ISO27001, GDPR);
  • Perform operating systems and VMWARE software upgrades, including planning/scheduling, testing and coordination;
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time within the general scope of responsibilities;
  • Monitor and report on the performance of network, system and application security solutions to highlight areas of non-compliance and inform the development of improved practices and processes;
  • Manage the allocation of access privileges of users to ensure appropriate security settings are applied in accordance with organization policies and application owner-defined parameters;
  • Assist with security breach investigations to guide the refinement of information security policies and practices;
  • Manage the periodic maintenance of security systems and applications to ensure new threats are identified and managed and the security of the organization’s assets are maintained;
  • Review threats and vulnerabilities;
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware;
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative;
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights;
  • Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that’s always up and running;
  • Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements;


  • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
  • 10+ year experience in relevant positions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fluency in English;
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, or similar role
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
